As a student in a course you may be expected to participate in Zoom sessions. Your instructor would have set up a session or recurring ones. Below are instructions on how to join these sessions through Canvas.
Note: If you have not installed Zoom you will be asked to do so upon clicking the Open zoom.us button. If you wish to download Zoom ahead of time please go to zoom.us. Click Resources and Download Zoom Client. Select the first option, Zoom Client for Meetings, upon the new page.
Log into Canvas
Enter the course that is having a Zoom session
- In the Course Navigation click on the Zoom link
- On the far right click the Join button
You will directed to another browser tab with a pop-up notification. Click Open zoom.us.
If you do not see the pop-up notification click Launch Meeting and it will appear.
The Zoom application will open to the meeting.
