First Year Mentors lead the incoming students during First Year Orientation. First Year Mentors act as a guide and a friend for incoming students to make the transition to college a little bit easier.
I love the community created on campus. The small campus allows for everyone to get to know each other and become an inclusive and welcoming space. Facilities take time to get to know each student, become great mentors, and create connections.
What I love about LTU is the small and close-knit community. Anywhere you go on campus you'll find a friendly face!
“I love LTU because of the community. The relationships you build with students and faculty truly make you feel at home.”
What I love most about LTU is how friendly and accepting everyone is, and how tight knit the community is.
The main thing that I enjoy about LTU is the community here, it's fairly unique compared to other colleges and definitely something you wouldn't see anywhere else.
I love LTU because of the small community. I am able to talk to my Professors one on one and have hands-on experience in my field. There are also a lot of amazing resources on campus!
What I love about LTU is the community feel! I feel like we have a family feel all around campus!
" What I love about LTU is the small atmosphere and class size, which has given me a chance to make amazing lasting friendships!”
I love LTU because coming from far away I made a lot of new friends and made plenty of memories already. I really love my major (graphic design) and playing on the softball team!
I love how close you are able to get with the people at LTU. There’s such a small amount of students compared to bigger universities so you get to know most of the people on campus. It really feels like a second home.
