Commencement Ticket Information
Students and Guests
All students planning to attend the December 2020 Commencement must bring a photo ID with them to collect their tickets in person at the Grad Fair, dates TBD. Each graduate will get TBD guest tickets. No additional tickets will be available at the Grad Fair.
If you are located out of state and unable to come to campus for the Grad Fair, please fill out the Out of State Ticket Request Form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. We can either mail the tickets to you, or you can designate someone to pick up the tickets on your behalf. However, please note that lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced.
Commencement tickets are limited, and are required for both the graduating student and their guests. Each student will be allotted TBD guest tickets, in addition to their own student ticket.
In order to be eligible for tickets, students must apply to graduate prior to the time of pick up. Students who apply after the deadline are not guaranteed Commencement tickets. Late applicants will only be able to secure tickets once they are opened up to the general community, if some are still available. Students without tickets will not be allowed to participate in Commencement. Guests without tickets will not be admitted into the Field House. Seating for all guests is general admission and on a first come, first choice basis. Guests must be seated no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony they are attending. Seat saving will not be allowed. Lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced.
Any tickets unclaimed after the final distribution day will be forfeited.
All faculty members participating in Commencement MUST complete the online form. This serves as your RSVP and (if applicable) regalia rental order form. Faculty do not need a ticket but will rather show a faculty ID to enter the Faculty Robing area in the Don Ridler Field House. If they need to rent regalia, the order will be placed on the RSVP form, and an email will be sent when the regalia is ready for pick up. A link to this form will be emailed during the Fall 2020 semester.
Parking: There will be plenty of free parking for everyone. A complimentary shuttle will operate before and after the ceremony between the parking lots. Signs will designate shuttle pickup and drop off points.
