Dr. Zahraddeen Gwarzo received his PhD in Computer Science and Informatics in 2018 from Oakland University, where he was doing research on Botnet detection using supervised machine learning approach. After graduation, he continued doing his research on Botnets as a postdoctoral research fellow, as well as mentoring PhD students and conducting seminars at the same university. He previously received MSc in Information, Network, and Computer Security from New York Institute of Technology.
Dr. Gwarzo is currently an Assistant Professor at Lawrence Technological University since 2019. His experience includes working as an IT Security Consultant for 5 years in private industry and teaching courses in Computer Networks, Information Security Practice, Cybersecurity, Ethical Hacking, Information Technology Management, among other courses.
He is a Certified Ethical Hacker, a Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator, an EC-Council Certified Security Analyst and a Certified e-Business Professional.
