Dual Master of Business Administration + Architecture

 

 


Would you like to combine your architectural design skills with the practical business knowledge needed to accelerate your career? If so, Lawrence Technological University offers the first professional NAAB accredited Masters in Architecture and an accredited Masters in Business Administration. The dual degree includes courses from both disciplines along with a thesis guided by architecture and business faculty.

To qualify for this dual degree program, you will need a Bachelor of Science in Architecture as well as several prerequisite courses in business. To be eligible for admission to the Master of Architecture, a bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited university is required.

Curriculum

MBA/ Master of Architecture Dual Degree

This program can be completed entirely online except for the Master Class studio that can be completed on 10 Fridays during the summer or on 4 weekends during the summer plus a field trip. A brief overview of curriculum taught in each course can be found in the online Course Descriptions catalog or by clicking on individual course items. To complete the MBA/MARC dual degree, a student must satisfy the minimum requirement of 54 credit hours. Program prerequisite courses cannot be applied toward the minimum requirement.

INTERNSHIPS & CO-OPS

The College offers opportunities for internships to our undergraduate students, for 3 to 6 credit hours. The program combines practical internships with some academic deliverables that complement each other. The experience of an internship helps the students merge their theoretical knowledge with practical application.
