Amanda will be graduating in May 2015 earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in electronics. Electives she has taken include Mechatronics, Nanotechnology and Computer Applications in Biomedical Engineering. Along with her classes, she is also working at Autoliv Electronics as a Design/Development Engineering Co-op. Through these experiences she has gained a greater understanding of electronics and due to this knowledge she will be taking the lead on fabricating our MEMS device. She is also taking the lead in running computer simulation for the fluid flow related to our device.

Kaitlyn Tingley

 

Kaitlyn is a senior graduating in May with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in mechanics. Some of the electives she has taken are orthopedics, organic chemistry and thermodynamics. Along with her classes, she is also working at Detroit Diesel as an intern in their product verifications lab. She has taken more chemistry classes and has spent more time in a lab than Amanda. She will take the lead in running the testing and understanding how best to immobilize the antibodies onto the electrode.
