What is the Lawrence Tech Scholars Program?

The Scholars Program is an interdependent, cohesive community for students who support each other’s academic and life goals.

Scholars Program - Join Us

Becoming a Scholar offers numerous benefits, including an academic support network (peer tutoring and peer mentoring), a social support network (fun community-building activities), and a professional mindset to help students succeed at Lawrence Tech, take advantage of the total university experience, and enhance internship/co-op opportunities.

The Scholars Program is designed to increase student academic success, promote leadership skills, and foster professionalism among its members. Students from all majors are welcome.

The success of the Lawrence Tech Scholars Program is based upon Scholars helping and learning from other Scholars.

This program is supported by the King-Chavez-Parks Initiative through the State of Michigan, and created in partnership with the award-winning Biology Scholars Program at the University of California, Berkeley .

The LTU Scholars Program is just one of the KCP Programs on our campus. Programs developed with KCP support include the Arts and Sciences Undeclared Advising Program, Campus Connections, The Margosian Academic Achievement Center, Academic Pre-Courses, Commuter Student Programs, and Clinical Counseling Services.
