Position Summary

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Adjunct instructor assigned to deliver course material within a classroom setting
Technological aptitude is a requirement with the need to navigate digital learning systems and hybrid teaching models
Course structuring and delivery, assessment submission (if applicable)
Additional duties on a per course need
Required Minimum Qualifications
Terminal Professional degree in area of knowledge (BFA, BSc) and a minimum of 8-years professional experience in the teaching area with documented evidence (portfolio and C.V. or resume).
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Professional degree (MFA) in area of knowledge
Demonstrated success as a performer and teacher

Expertise in at least one of the following software packages: Alias, 3DMax, Blender, Maya, Rhino

Part-Time Adjunct / Lecturer Pool

The Department of Art and Design in the College of Architecture and Design at Lawrence Technological University is seeking part-time/temporary instructors in these areas: Industrial Design, Transportation Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, and Game Design.

Appointments from the part-time pool are per semester and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants must be available on short notice.
