Edward Lynch

Edward Lynch serves as the Senior Program Manager for research and planning for the Center for Equity, Engagement and Research at Detroit Future City. In this role, Edward coordinates research and policy initiatives for the Center.
Prior to joining Detroit Future City, Edward spent six years as a planner at Hamilton Anderson and Associates, where he collaborated with a range of clients to create plans at the city and neighborhood level and conducted detailed data analysis in support of those planning efforts. During the 2010 Census, he operated as a census enumerator during the follow-up.
Edward has a master’s degree in urban planning from Wayne State University and a bachelor’s degree in history from Michigan State University. Edward is a certified planner and a member of the American Planning Association – Michigan Chapter.
