Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Industrial Design

The College of Architecture and Design at Lawrence Technological University is seeking outstanding candidates for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Industrial Design. The successful candidate will teach a full-time faculty workload in the BS-ID program. The appointee will be expected to assume a leadership role at the University in mapping new directions in Industrial Design. It is anticipated that the appointment will commence in August 2017.

Tenure-Track Faculty Position - Architectural Building Systems

The College of Architecture and Design at Lawrence Technological University seeks candidates with expertise in architecture with specialization in building systems for a faculty position in the Department of Architecture. The successful candidate will teach a full-time faculty workload, engage in research and scholarship, and participate in service, as defined by the University’s Faculty Handbook. Professor of Practice

The College of Architecture and Design (CoAD) at Lawrence Technological University (LTU) invites applications for Professor of Practice teaching positions.  

The Professor of Practice position is intended for those pursuing a specific research or creative agenda within the fields of art, design, and architecture. Professors of Practice will be expected to develop an individual agenda, supported by the mission of the College and Department of appointment, intended to address teaching, research, and artistic work and/or for re-evaluation and development of a field of inquiry.  

In addition, Professors of Practice are expected to (a) disseminate work through one or more national and/or international peer-reviewed venues in each year of appointment, (b) mount one or more exhibitions each year of appointment (joint or collaborative exhibitions are encouraged), and (c) present their research or creative work as a part of the CoAD lecture series during the second year of the first appointment. Professors of Practice will be required to review their appointments each year with the chair of the host department.  Professors of Practice are considered LTU faculty members and, thus, must acknowledge their relationship with LTU in citing professional accomplishments.
