Canadian citizens are exempt from the international student enrollment deposit.

As an incoming international student, you are required to submit a $500 deposit to complete your application and finalize your admission documentation. The deposit may be made online through your Student Status Page at www.ltu.edu/statuspage.

It will be held in your account until you enroll as a fulltime student for the second semester, then it will be posted to your account to be used to pay tuition and fees. The deposit is non-refundable except in the case of a visa denial. 

Your enrollment deposit and all required documentation to issue an I-20 must be submitted 60 days before the deadlines below:

Spring 2023 – November 10, 2022 
Summer 2023 – March 16, 2023
Fall 2023 – June 22, 2023
Spring 2024 – November 9, 2023
