Freshman Admission Requirements

Canadian Freshman students must submit the following documents to be considered for admission:

1. Completed application
2. $50 application fee
3. Official secondary school transcripts
4. SAT or ACT scores (optional)
5. Personal essay (optional)

To meet admission requirements, a 65% or letter grade of "C/B," after re-calculation of core (Math, Science, English, and Social Science) courses from a secondary school of grades 9-12, is required. Grades of 60 percent or better for Ontario Academic Credit (OAC) will be considered for LTU credit.

Transfer Admission Requirements

Canadian Transfer students must submit the following documents to be considered for admission:

1. Completed application
2. $50 application fee
3. Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
4. Official final secondary school transcripts
5. Personal essay (optional)

Architecture majors require a portfolio for transfer credit purposes. Click here for portfolio requirements.

A minimum 2.0 GPA (or "C" average) with 30 or more college credit hours completed is required to meet admission requirements to Lawrence Tech. Students with fewer than 30 college credits completed will be reviewed for admission using primarily secondary school transcripts. Upon admission to Lawrence Tech, a credit evaluation will be completed to determine which courses are transferable. Architecture majors may require a portfolio for transfer credit purposes.
