HLC visited LTU in October 2020 which resulted in reaccreditation of the university through 2030-31.

Many of Lawrence Tech's academic programs are accredited by professional accreditation agencies:

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program has initial approval from the Michigan State Board of Nursing. An application for full approval can be made after LTU graduates its first nursing class in May 2021.  Accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) is being sought with a virtual visit by CCNE on September 28th-30 th 2020. CCNE’s decision on LTU’s application will be known in March 2021.
