Study Abroad - Summer Series

Lawrence Technological University has created a Study Abroad Series for all interested international students.

All interested students will arrive on the Sunday prior to the Monday of their study abroad program. All students will live on campus in one of Lawrence Technological University housing units. Students will pay for their air fare and transportation to the university. The summer program will be $1000 for one week which will include housing, linens, three meals a day, transportation to events on and off campus as well as engaging opportunities within the city of Southfield and in southeastern Michigan. If students choose to attend the study abroad for two weeks, the charge will be $1500.00.

All students should apply for a B1 Visitor Visa for this program. During each week, students will explore a variety of opportunities for their future educational and career opportunities, such as:

• Academic Programs at the undergraduate and graduate level in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Artifcial Intelligence, Business Administration, Entrepreneurs’ in Residence, Data Sciences, etc.
• Company and Industry visits with hands on experiences in a manufacturing setting
• On-Campus Accelerator visits to work side by side inventors and industry makers
• Campus Tours, external visits to sites in Michigan
• Admissions support on applications for future enrollment
• Presentations by each College with curriculum review of transcripts for admissions
