Southfield, Mich. – Lawrence Technological University is inaugurating several new degree programs when classes begin for the fall semester on Wednesday, Aug. 27.

Special On-the-spot Admissions days will be held from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, and Tuesday, Aug. 19. These events include accelerated evaluation of transfer credits and the waiver of application fees.

Lawrence Tech’s College of Arts and Sciences is inaugurating a minor and a certificate in television and video production. The program, which is designed around one-on-one mentoring and internship opportunities, will provide students with the technical, creative and ethical foundation needed for a career as a media specialist.

The College of Management at Lawrence Tech has added a dual degree program for an MBA and a master’s degree in global leadership and management. This unique degree combines the skill development of a specialty degree in global leadership with the rigorous  course work of a traditional MBA degree. It is designed to prepare managers in global organizations for senior executive positions by broadening and deepening their knowledge of diverse societies in the global economy.
