College-bound students can learn about financial aid Jan.23

Southfield, Mich. – College-bound students and their families can learn about options for paying college tuition at Financial Aid Night at Lawrence Technological University on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 6:30-8 p.m.

The public informational event is open to anyone interested in attending college anywhere, not just at Lawrence Tech, and will be held in the Science Building auditorium (S100) on Lawrence Tech’s Southfield campus. Because space is limited, students should register in advance by calling 800.CALL.LTU or going online at www.ltu.edu/futurestudents.

Mark Martin, director of financial aid at Lawrence Tech, will discuss scholarship sources and private, state and federal grant and loan programs. He will explain the process for filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Lawrence Technological University, www.ltu.edu, offers more than 60 Undergraduate, Master’s and Doctoral degree programs in Colleges of Architecture and Design, Arts and Sciences, Engineering and Management. Founded in 1932, the 4,500-student, private university pioneered evening classes 75 years ago, and today has a growing number of weekend and online programs. Lawrence Tech’s 102-acre campus is in Southfield, with education centers in Livonia, Clinton Township, Traverse City and Petoskey. Lawrence Tech also offers programs with partner universities in Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia.
