Lawrence Tech plans life sciences career day April 3

Southfield, Mich. – Corporate recruiters are invited to attend the first Life Sciences Career Day at Lawrence Technological University on Thursday, April 3.

Lawrence Tech’s Office of Career Services has created the career day for companies interested in college students and recent graduates with education and skills needed to excel in this growing sector of the economy. Biomedical engineering is one of the fastest-growing major at Lawrence Tech, and more students are now in degree programs related to life sciences such as molecular and cell biology and chemical biology.

There will be candidates for co-op positions, internships, entry-level jobs and skilled professional opportunities. An open-room format will allow recruiters to meet all the candidates, and separate rooms will be available for interviewing.

The Life Sciences Career Day will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the atrium of the Buell Management Building on Lawrence Tech’s campus in Southfield.  Setup begins at 10 a.m.
