Once completed and approved, your dissertation will be ready to be bound, and then uploaded to Proquest Information and Learning (PQIL), which is the primary repository for all of the dissertations for U.S. universities and others world-wide.  They index your dissertation and make it available for sale (royalties will be provided for any sale).  We will also file your formal copyright request through Proquest. 

(note: Proquest is sometimes referred to as "UMI" or "University Microfilms International", its former name.)

When you are ready to send your dissertation copies to the bindery, just make an appointment at the library by calling 248-204-3000 or email refdesk@ltu.edu .

Every doctoral student will also need to set up an account at LTU's Proquest Dissertation site.
However, the library recommends not submitting the dissertation PDF etc. until after making an appointment to drop off the dissertations for binding.  The library representative will provide more detailed instructions at that time:

Remember, Lawrence Tech Library will handle the copyrighting of your work on your behalf through Proquest.
