Community Collaboration

Lawrence Tech’s faculty and students have changed the face of many Michigan communities through such projects as urban and neighborhood development, historic preservation, adaptive reuse, and the improvement of bridges and physical infrastructure. In addition, Lawrence Tech provides young people with challenging, fun experiences in engineering, technology, science, and architecture through after-school and summer programs in the Detroit Public Schools and through collaboration with local youth-serving agencies, such as Girl Scouts.
