JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant

JOB DUTIES: The candidate will provide support to the College of Arts and Sciences Deans and Director of Undergraduate Management Programs (UMP) in the College of Arts and Sciences, including intra- and extra-College communication, both on and off campus. Maintain liaison with departments and faculty within the College. The candidate will provide administrative and clerical support to the UMP Director, Associate Dean and occasionally to the Dean. Works with the Deans’ Administrative Assistants in supporting the activities of the Dean’s Office and the College. Ideal candidate can carry out duties independently with limited oversight provided by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS: The Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree or beyond preferred; minimum 5 years experience in high-level office or administrative environment. JOB TITLE: Assistant Professor of Computer Science
DIVISION: College of Arts and Sciences
QUALIFICATIONS: The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Lawrence Technological University anticipates the appointment of an Assistant Professor of Computer Science in August 2008. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. degree in computer science, be primarily committed to the development of undergraduate and professional graduate computer science students through teaching and projects, and believe strongly in the value of both theory and application. Special consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in the fields of bioinformatics or informatics, but all well-qualified candidates will also be considered. Review of candidates will begin on December 11 and will continue until the position is filled.
