Registrar's Office

What are the instructor’s office hours if not posted? or
What is the off campus e-mail address/phone number for Professor X?
Faculty may post office hours on their office doors; may post their schedules with Gayle Schaeff, faculty secretary; or may use an on-line appointment schedule. The Faculty Secretary can give you their off campus business phone number or e:mail address, or leave a message for them to contact you if you’d like.

Can I make an appointment with you to see Professor X?
The Faculty Secretary does not schedule appointments for the professors.  You can contact faculty by e:mail, by phone, or can leave a message with the Faculty Secretary that can be placed in the faculty member's mailbox.

Is my class cancelled?
Consult Blackboard first. Most professors will post a notice on Blackboard if they are canceling their class (or ask one of the secretaries to post a notice in the classroom).

Can I use your copy machine?
Copies within the Architecture building are for faculty and staff only. If a student is making copies for an instructor, a staff member will make the copies on the faculty copier.  There is a student copier in the Architecture Resource Library.

Can I test out of a class?
The only class that you are allowed to test out of is ARC2813, Electronic Methods 1. See the Architecture Computer Lab Manager to schedule your test.  If you successfully pass the test, you are still required to make up the 3 credits with another Architecture elective.

Can I do a dual degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering?
Yes, a dual degree in Arch/Civil is available to you. Interested students should contact Professor Abernethy (Architecture) and Dr. Grace (Civil Engineering) for more information.
