This year, we are changing the venue from years past based on survey results among past participants. In 2012, The Tech Invitational will be held at the famous Birmingham Country Club in the heart of Metro Detroit.

Enjoy a day of golf and support Lawrence Tech students!

The Tech Invitational will benefit important capital, program, and scholarship needs at the University. Your support will help Lawrence Tech prepare future generations of architects, engineers, scientists, and business leaders.

Your participation will help ensure that the only challenges our students face are those in the classroom!

Lawrence Technological University offers more than 100 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degree programs in Colleges of Architecture and Design, Arts and Sciences, Engineering, and Management. Lawrence Tech pioneered the offering of day and evening classes more than 75 years ago and now has a growing number of weekend programs.

From the moment you arrive at Birmingham Country and receive your private locker assignment and a distinctive gift, you'll know you are part of something special. After spending time sharpening your game on the driving range and putting greens, visit the clubhouse for a delectable buffet luncheon. While inside, be sure to view the unique items available in the Silent Auction. 


As you head out to your cart, stop by the pro shop to pick up a new glove or a souvenir of the day. Take a moment to practice your putting and demonstrate your short-iron skills. Order a beverage of your choice from the open bar and head out on the course for the shotgun start.

Cool off with refreshments from one of the on-course beverage stands or the beverage cart, and enjoy a scramble format as your team shoots for first place. As you wrap up the afternoon of golf, head back to the clubhouse to refresh yourself in the locker room. Then join your teammates for hors d'oeuvres and cocktail as you check your score and bid on a variety of auction packages.
