Our first meeting of the semester will be on Tuesday January 29th at 3:00 PM in E18. Listed below are the rest of the meetings that will be held throughout the semester, all in E18. Join us and discuss any ideas you have to promote alternative energy.

We also have a few events planned for this semester for anyone who would like to attend. They should be very informative and interesting. They are spread out throughout the semester and will be on Fridays. The first event will be a trip to NextEnergy on February 8th at 11AM. We don't currently have specific dates set for the rest of the events, but we will update the website and send out emails when we know for sure.

On Tuesday September 19th from 4:00 to 5:30pm the AESG is having its first meeting of the fall 2006 semester. It will be held in the alternative nergy lab, E18. On the agenda for the meeting is discussion of the Energy Jobs Fair, Campus Recycling, Energy Month Events, AESG Website, and more. Those who are unable to attend should contact the AESG to receive the meeting minutes and learn more about the projects we are undertaking.
AESG was present at Party on the Yard on September 7th. Secretary Mike Waters and member Erik Huyghe were talking to students about the purpose of the AESG and the opportunities afforded by the group and the alternative energy curriculum offered at LTU. They also handed out flyers for the first meeting of the semester, which will be on Tuesday, September 19th from 4:00 to 5:30pm. There were solar panels and a fuel cell on display for students to see.
The AESG had representatives at the student organization fair during Discovery Days (freshman orientation) August 28th to show new students who we are and what we stand for. We had materials for display and handed out flyers.
