Hi, I’m Tre’s Fuller, the Michigan Campus Compact AmeriCorps*VISTA for Financial Literacy at Lawrence Tech. I am very excited about getting to know you all and working with you!

I am originally from Comstock Park, Michigan, a little suburb just north of Grand Rapids. I attended the University of Michigan, majoring in public policy, with a focus on the Arab-Israeli conflict.

A VISTA’s job is to build capacity. To that end, I will be trying to set up programs and events that promote financial literacy on campus and in the community. If you have any ideas or suggestions for me, please let me know! The more input you give, the more useful I can be.

I will also be recruiting people for volunteer projects related to financial literacy. One such project is Operation HOPE’s Banking on our Future program, which provides financial literacy instruction to students in Detroit. If you need some service hours, or just want to lend a helping hand in the community, get in touch with me and we will find something for you to do.

In my spare time I read, watch movies, hunt, fish, and obsess about the Wolverines and the four Detroit pro teams.‘

My office is by the Dean of Students’ in Taubman. Please stop by and chat!
