Pre-Courses

Pre-Courses provide a review of foundational concepts and introduce key elements of courses that typically present roadblocks for students.  Pre-Courses are offered in the summer just before courses begin and are facilitated by Scholars and other qualified students who have completed the course and will continue as a tutor for students in that course. Pre-Courses are offered in January as well.

Thanks to the support of the King-Chavez-Parks Initiative, the Academic Achievement Center and the College of Arts & Sciences offer Pre-Courses at no additional charge to students.
