Petitioning to graduate is a necessary step that you need to take before you can graduate. Before completing this form, please meet with your designated academic department at least one semester in advance to determine if you are eligible for graduation. If you plan on walking in the commencement ceremony in May your petition is due April 15th. (For a full list of petition deadline dates please visit the Important Dates and Deadlines page.)
A graduation fee is due at the time of the application. Both the Petition and the Graduation Fee are valid for one academic year. If graduation requirements are not met within one academic year, the student must submit another Petition for Graduation and another Graduation Fee.
