Component 1 -- Recovery Starts Here Continues with Career Receptions and Workshops
Lawrence Technological University will continue to host Career Networking Receptions for displaced workers with college degrees, not limited only to Lawrence Tech students and alumni. The next reception is Thursday, May 20, 2010, from 5:30 - 8:30p.m. Since January 2009, more than 3,000 participants have met with approximately 300 industry representatives from the Southeastern Michigan area.
Although it is easy to presume that job opportunities are scant, many companies and industries today need talented and experienced people to contribute to and lead their organizations. Career fields generating job opportunities across Michigan include energy, life sciences, homeland security and defense, and advanced manufacturing.
Register here for the May 20th career networking reception.
