Southfield, Mich. - Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a day at one of Metro Detroit's most prestigious golf courses while also contributing to student scholarships at Lawrence Technological University.
A limited number of foursomes are available for the sixth annual Tech Invitational to be held Monday, Aug. 10, at Meadowbrook Country Club in Northville. This private club hosts very few outside events, so this is a rare opportunity to play this challenging championship course.
Sponsorships are still available, and Lawrence Tech supporters can donate items for the silent auction. Tickets are also available for the cocktail hour and auction.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the shotgun start to the scramble format is at noon. The cocktail reception that includes an auction begins at 5:30 p.m.
Tech Invitational golf outings to date have raised more than $400,000 for capital, program and scholarship needs at Lawrence Tech.
