Lawrence Tech hosts seminar for nonprofit board members

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – “Building Your Board,” the fifth in the BoardWALK series of seven training workshops for nonprofit board members, will be held Friday, March 4, 9 a.m. to noon at Lawrence Technological University, 21000 West 10 Mile, Southfield.

BoardWALK is a series of affordable workshops designed to energize the performance of nonprofit board members and the staff that work with them. Workshops are conducted by experienced professionals in classes small enough to ensure individual attention. 

BoardWALK is offered through a partnership of the United Way for Southeastern Michigan, Detroit Executive Service Corps and Lawrence Tech’s Center for Nonprofit Management.

The cost is $35. All workshops will be held in the Buell Management Building at Lawrence Tech.
