Southfield, Mich. - Lawrence Tech's Society of Dramatic Arts (SODA) will present its fall production, "Flaming Idiots," a farcical play in two acts by Tom Rooney, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 21-22, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 23, at 4 p.m. in the Science Building auditorium on the campus at 21000 West Ten Mile Road, Southfield. General admission is $5; student admission is $1.
The play is about two men who are opening a restaurant with a signature alcoholic beverage called the Flaming Idiot. What they find is that business doesn't pick up very quickly and they resort to extreme, and some would say idiotic, measures to help drum up business.
