Major: Industrial Design
Year at LTU: 5th

I am going into my fifth and final year here at LTU studying Industrial Design, and will be in the FIRST class of Industrial Designers to graduate from LTU. I have been a part of the first year metor program for two years, and am excited to be a Senior Team Leader this year guiding the team, and helping out all of the new students. In my spare time I like to watch 6 seasons of a tv show in one sitting on netflix. I am a sucker for a good burger and fries no matter how healthy I’m trying to be. In the summer I drive hours every weekend just to get a couple of days at the lake with my family.

George Grzywacz

Grzywacz-George.jpg

Major: Civil Engineering/Architecture
Year at LTU: 5th

Campus Involvement: Varsity Ice Hockey, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Chi Epsilon (Civil Engineering honor society)
Hey my name is George Grzywacz. I am currently a super senior pursuing a dual degree in Civil Engineering and Architecture. Most of my time is spent in the hockey rink playing goalie for the Varsity Ice Hockey team. Make sure you guys come out to our games, which are free for all students, on Friday nights at 8:00 pm at the Southfield Civic Center. When I’m not standing in front of fast moving objects, I enjoy watching scary movies and trying different foods.  I think the craziest thing I have tried in a while would have to be the PBB and J burger at Bagger Dave’s. The PBB and J stands for peanut butter, bacon, and jalapeno. All of this is piled on top of a turkey burger and it is probably one of the best burgers I have ever tried, go try it for yourself.  I also like to run, so you’ll probably see me huffing and puffing my way through campus. Feel free to wave or even join me in running. I am in the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and the Chi Epsilon honor society. We like to have a lot of fun and participate in a lot of volunteer work and philanthropy work. This past winter we jumped in the Detroit River to raise money for the Special Olympics. It was really cold, but for a great cause. If you want to find out more about this or anything that I talked about feel free to find me. I’ll be helping your mentor this whole semester. Go Blue Devils!
