Weekend MBA in Toronto

Lawrence Technological University's College of Management, with a long history of serving the international community, has extended its services to Ontario, Canada. With the written consent of the Minister of Training Colleges and Universities, the College of Management is offering its Weekend MBA to students living and working in the greater Toronto area.

The intent of the Toronto Weekend MBA is to develop leadership and management skills by providing the student with a broad understanding of the roles and responsibilities of business and management in the global economy, thereby enhancing the graduate's effectiveness as global managers and leaders. The program is further designed to develop the student's skills in areas such as problem solving, communication, and team building, and helps students develop a cross-disciplinary approach to managing the organization. Accreditation and Recognition

Lawrence Tech's MBA program is offered by consent of the Ontario Ministry of Education. Click here for a copy of the official letter of consent from the Ministry of Education.

Lawrence Technological University has been granted a consent by the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities to offer this degree for a five-year term starting 10/22/2009.  An application for renewal of the consent has been submitted and the current consent remains in effect until a decision on the renewal application is made. Lawrence Technological University shall ensure that all students admitted to the above-named program during the period of consent will have the opportunity to complete the program within a reasonable time frame.

Higher Learning Commission (HLC)

Lawrence Technological University is regionally accredited by The Higher Learning Commission. Academic programs offered by the College of Management are fully accredited by ACBSP and IACBE, one of only three institutions in the State of Michigan to be accredited by both of these organizations.

Lawrence Technological University has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) located at 11374 Strang Line Road in Lenexa, Kansas, USA. Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)

In July 2013, the eligibility application of the College of Management was approved by the Initial Accreditation Committee of AACSB enabling the college to implement the process towards possible AACSB accreditation.
