Dr. Nadia Shuayto is currently employed at Lawrence Technological University in the College of Management.  She is an Assistant Professor of Marketing and Director of the MBA program.

A sampling of the courses that she teaches includes Marketing Management, International Business and Global Marketing. In addition to her teaching, Nadia works as a consultant and trainer. She has worked with various companies in Lebanon, Jordan, Kuwait, Dubai, Sharjah, and Yemen.  Her areas of research include global marketing (standardization vs. customization and building global brands), and management (expatriation and skill set needed from graduates).  She has published in marketing and management journals, conference proceedings, and attends conferences on a regular basis.

Dr. Shuayto holds a Doctorate Degree in Marketing from Nova Southeastern University of Florida, a Master's Degree in International Business from Lawrence Technological University, Southfield, MI, a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Management from Lawrence Tech, and an Associate's Degree in Arts & Science from Henry Ford Community College, Dearborn, MI.  She has over 20 years of professional experience in the areas of retail, food & beverage, health care, and import/export. She currently acquired the master franchise for the Little Caesars Pizza chain in Lebanon. 

Through the years, Nadia has acquired many skills such as effective communication, interpersonal skills, time management, dealing with people from various cultures, and many others that she finds useful in her everyday living and professional practice. 

Nadia's goal in life is to achieve and excel in all aspects of life, both professionally and personally. Her standards and values are integrity, responsibility, and life-long learning.  She likes to learn from every opportunity that comes her way and tries to instill these values into her three children as well.  Her passion is teaching.
