Professor Chinling Lin is the Assistant Dean and Chief Operating Officer, having joined the University in 1995. She received her BBA degree in Accounting from National Taiwan University and a Master of Management Science in Information from the University of Iowa.

Professor Lin has been an active member of the international community for over 15 years, and currently serves as the Treasurer of the Michigan Chinese Academic and Professional Association. Prior to joining LTU, she was a consultant for business development and practice in the Asian Pacific Rim as well as a promoter of international educational studies. Under Professor Lin’s leadership, the College's international programs have been expanded to such markets as Toronto, Vancouver, Taipei and Beijing China. Over two hundred international students attend the College of Management each year, with almost one thousand alumni having graduated since her appointment.

Professor Lin manages over fourteen separate international programs offered at different times throughout the year, regularly traveling to the remote sites to ensure the integrity and quality of the programs. Professor Lin currently chairs the College Committee for Enhancement of the Learning Experience and serves as a faculty committee member for the College's doctoral programs in Business Administration and Information Technology. She is the academic advisor to over 200 international students.
