Message from the President
Greetings from Lawrence Technological University!
I want to personally invite you and your family and friends to participate in Lawrence Technological University’s first Global Village Project. This week-long program is designed for our international and American students and their families to learn together and from each other about our diverse faiths, cultures, and countries in a positive and engaging atmosphere.
This not only is a great opportunity for our international students to learn about the country in which they are studying, but also for their parents, families, or friends who may never have visited campus. They can come and experience the great education their students are receiving, participate in the program, and learn about our Lawrence Tech values.
I truly believe that coming together to discuss and learn from our similarities and differences is what makes us a great people. At LTU, we are a family of learners and educators. It is important for our community to have a platform that offers the opportunity to engage in discussions that expand our understanding and awareness in such areas as the economy, religion, law, poetry, and the visual arts. We will explore the richness of our traditions and history, learn what unites us, and through this dialogue, we can promote global understanding.
Please join me in this wonderful shared learning experience and begin the fall 2013 semester with a better understanding of yourselves, each other, and the world.
