EME 4981 Special Topics in ME, Leadership Models and Practices
1 credit
Thursdays from 7:10-9:00 p.m.
Spring 2008
The Leadership Models and Practices course will introduce students to different leadership skill areas while emphasizing self-reflection and development of a personal leadership style. Students will engage with others in and out of the classroom during leadership-based activities, participate in self- and peer assessments, and develop a leadership-based project in teams.
Although the course has an ME listing, it is not specifically an ME course. However, this course may be applied toward the credit hours necessary for the Entrepreneurial Certificate. It also will fulfill the entrepreneurial elective requirement for Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering majors. Check with your academic advisor to see if this course fuflfills elective requirements for your degree program.
This course is open to all students in all academic majors.
If you’re looking for a course to fill one elective credit, Leadership Models and Practices is the course for you! No previous coursework or experience in Engineering is necessary.
