President of Tener Technologies LLC (Tenertech) in Ferndale. Tenerowicz founded the company in 2000 to meet the demand for IT services for small- and mid-sized companies. Now, the company has more than 300 clients in the Midwest and has earned Microsoft certifications, including gold, the highest possible status. The company oversees network administration, technical support and Web and software development for clients. Prior to founding Tenertech, Tenerowicz was director of technical services at Cloudstream, Inc./Midwest Business System, an IT company in Southfield where he was responsible for project management and supervision of all technical staff. Tenertech recently launched the ďDigital DonationĒ contest for Metro Detroit nonprofits in which the company will provide up to $10,000 in hardware, software, and network and support services for the chosen nonprofit. Tenertech is a member of Automation Alley and the Ferndale, Detroit and Windsor Chambers of Commerce. Tenerowicz received his bachelorís degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.

WHERE MY FIELD/INDUSTRY IS HEADED: "In the computer and IT industry, everyone is becoming more and more dependent. Technology is becoming an integral part, a bigger chunk, of the business world and peopleís private lives. It will continue on that path. In our business, we help small- and medium-sized businesses manage technology and try to do it in a way that enhances profitability. As technology becomes more integrated into society, thereís going to be a lot that seems like itís a good idea but just isnít. We point them in the right direction to show whatís a flash in the pan and a waste of energy."

FAVORITE TECHNOLOGICAL GADGET: "Itís kind of hard to say for an IT guy, but probably my Windows-based mobile phone."

FAVORITE PLACE: "Paris."

FAVORITE HOBBY: "It would be bad if I said computers. Spending time with my family and doing crossword puzzles."
