For more than 20 years, Walter has leveraged information technology to solve strategic business problems for organizations. He has significant experience planning, building, and implementing solutions in the manufacturing and healthcare industries, with clients including Chrysler, BP, Ford, and the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Under his leadership, Latitude has been recognized as one of the top 20 learning management systems by two industry groups, Tagoras and Capterra. The firm received the bronze medal for Best Use of Web 2.0 Tools for eLearning at the eLearning Guild's annual DemoFest and Excellence in Learning, and the Ektron All-Star Award for best extranet site. Walter is expanding Latitude's efforts by helping the extended enterprise improve operational performance in business intelligence, business portals, online communities, and learning-management systems. Prior to Latitude, he worked at Commerce One, AppNet, and AMS, growing consulting, software, and outsourcing practices to improve operations for financial services, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, energy, and automotive firms. Walter received his bachelor's degree in computer science from Binghamton University at the State University of New York and his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

In the last 50 years in the computer industry, people have insatiable appetites for information of all manner. I see more and more information being available to people in ways we hadn't even dreamed of before. Humans have an insatiable appetite to know.”
