Founder, President, and CEO of Dynamic Advisory Solutions in Troy. Now in its 13th year, Dynamic Advisory Solutions delivers customized solutions on a pay-per-use basis to companies whose accounting departments need additional services or CFO services without hiring a CFO. While building the company, Carlton also created and hosted a weekly radio show, "The Business Reality Network," designed to nurture aspiring entrepreneurs as well as business owners. He is the author of the book Profitpreneurship, now in its second printing. Carlton previously worked at Plante & Moran and taught accounting at Baker College. Under his leadership, Dynamic Advisory Solutions has increased revenue by more than 40 percent in 2012 and added several new positions within the company. Recently, the company announced a partnership with the Michigan State Medical Society to offer physician members a series of financial wellness programs for their medical practices. Dynamic Advisory Solutions is raising an additional round of capital to deploy an online system aimed at small businesses that want to purchase accounting services. Carlton has been recognized as a 40 under 40 by Crain's Detroit Business, a 30 in their 30s by DBusiness, and as an Entrepreneur of Distinction by Corp! magazine, which also named the firm a Best of Michigan Business. The Small Business Council of America named Dynamic Advisory Solutions a Best of Business. Carlton has served on the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants ethics task force, and as a director of the Detroit chapter of the Entrepreneur's Organization, and the Troy Community Foundation. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting with honors from Oakland University.
