DAVE MORIN:
CEO and Co-founder of Cielo MedSolutions LLC in Ann Arbor. Founded in 2005, Cielo provides Web-based software solutions for health-care providers. More than 200,000 patients are managed by Cielo for such health care organizations as St. John Health System, Oakland Southfield Physicians Group, and the University of Michigan Health System, Department of Family Medicine. Throughout his career, Morin has focused on both the management of technology companies and the management of technology within organizations. Prior to Cielo, he was vice president of technology of HomeTown Communications Network, a newspaper and directory publishing company, where he launched and managed its successful Internet subsidiary, HomeTown Digital. Prior to HomeTown, Morin held executive and management positions with numerous technology companies, including Cambridge Technology Partners, Brainstorm Technologies, Clear Concepts, and Information Decisions. Morin is also actively engaged in community social entrepreneurship, including new ministry and venture creation for organizations such as the ELCA Lutheran Church and other Detroit-area causes. He received his bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, with distinction, from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
