Founder and CEO, Red Level Networks in Livonia. King created the company three years ago with a client roster of 20 and now serves some 150 companies. Red Level provides Web development, custom software, technology planning, multi-system integration, and other IT services. The company increased its client roster by 40 percent in 2006 and increased its staff by 28 percent. King has more than 16 years of experience in the IT field and has provided services to the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard, SBC, Detroit Public Schools, the City of Detroit, and others. Prior to starting Red Level, he was IT director of the Epitec Group and worked at Clover Technologies. King studied computer science at Wayne State University. He and his family sponsor a child in Ghana through World Vision. A retired naval officer, he serves two weeks every year in the Naval Reserve, for which he travels to Africa to assist with technology implementation.

Itís coming to a complexity now where they canít explain it and they need a partner organization to explain it, support it, and provide a level of managed services 24/7 regardless of what the issue is."
