Founder and CEO of Myine Electronics LLC and Livio Radio in Ferndale. Sigal has quickly established himself as an innovator in consumer electronics by launching more than 20 successful products into the market. Myine, founded in 2008, manufactures electronic audio products that make music accessible to consumers with limited time or technological sophistication. Myine’s Abbee radio won two 2010 design and innovation awards as well as a top-25 product at the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show. Livio Radio finds ways to make Internet audio streams accessible to more people, in more places. Dedicated to designing products that work fast without complicated menus, Livio Radio developed the Livio radio, which features Pandora as well as National Public Radio. Livio’s iPhone application for listening to radio around the world while driving received top-20 recognition at the 2010 CES Mobile App Showdown. Sigal previously worked for Cumberland, R.I.’s ION Audio®, where he invented the original USB turntable, the first product designed to facilitate a conversion of vinyl records to CD or MP3 format. He is also co-inventor of the iDJ, an iPod-based mixing console. As a product line manager for Delphi’s Consumer Electronics group, Sigal was responsible for producing XM-brand satellite radio products for markets in the United States and Canada. He is a board member of the Consumer Electronics Association’s Small Business Council. Sigal received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from Ohio University and serves on the University’s Russ College of Engineering Board of Advisors.
