President and CEO of ForeSee Results in Ann Arbor. Since the companyís founding in 2001, he has overseen significant growth in its clients, revenues, and employees. Freed has more than 20 years of experience in senior management and in directing e-commerce and technology initiatives. An expert on Web customer satisfaction, Freed speaks extensively on the topic at private and public sector industry events and has been quoted in numerous publications and media. Previously, he held several senior executive positions at Compuware Corp., leading a variety of e-commerce and professional services programs. Most recently, he served as vice president of e-business, where he was responsible for directing the national e-business practice and for the design, development and implementation of e-business strategies for numerous companies. Before joining Compuware, Freed held various positions including chief technology officer at what was then Bank One. He is currently on the board of directors and the executive committee of the Ann Arbor IT Zone, and previously held leadership positions at ASC X12, a national EDI standards group, and several other industry groups. Freed received his bachelorís degree in computer science from the University of Michigan and received his MBA from Wayne State University.

WHERE MY FIELD/INDUSTRY IS HEADED: "Our field has two aspects. The Internet, which is continuing to grow, is of value as a revenue source and as a way to improve efficiencies for business. It is continuing to expand in ways that we never dreamed of. The other aspect is the customer. The customer is more in control that ever before. Because of the Internet, the customer is much more knowledgeable, which makes an informed consumer."

FAVORITE TECHNOLOGICAL GADGET: "DVR lets you catch up and make good use of time. The second is my favorite and the one I hate the most Ėgetting email on my cell phone. Itís a double-edged sword."

FAVORITE PLACE: "Colorado, from a vacation standpoint. In addition, with our customers, because I learn so much from them."

FAVORITE HOBBIES: "Spending time with my family, golf, and watching sports."

FAVORITE FOOD: "Seafood."

MY HIDDEN TALENT: "I think Iím creative but not in the way that people think of. Iím not artistic but creative in solving problems and coming up with ideas."
