Linda L. Height

Linda L. Height serves as the Interim Vice President for Finance and Administration at Lawrence Technological University.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Healthcare Administration from Mercy College, Detroit, in 1995.  She received her Masters of Science Administration (Human Resources) from Central Michigan University in 2001.

Ms. Height has extensive experience in both the public and private arenas.  Most recently, Ms. Height served as the Vice President for Compliance and Revenue Management for Bon Secours Cottage Health Services.  She developed and implemented a corporate compliance education and audit program, and was instrumental in the reduction of unbilled receivables to less than one day of revenue.  Prior to that position, she was Vice President for Continuing Care Services and Compliance at Bon Secours, overseeing the development and implementation of a new Assisted Living Facility and a Senior Day Care Facility.

As the Manager for the Healthcare Consulting Division at the accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand, she coordinated all consulting activities, with primary focus on the assessment of business operations related to organizational structure, policies and procedures, staffing levels and quality controls.

Ms. Height serves as a board member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.  She is a former president and current member of the Michigan Patient Accounting Association.  She is also a member of the Michigan Association of Homes for the Aged.

Ms. Height is a Sergeant First Class (retired) in the U.S. Army Reserves.  Her hobbies include reading, organizing events for her extended family, and bowling.
