Bruce Annett, Jr.

Bruce J. Annett, Jr. is the recipient of nearly 30 national awards for communication excellence and achievement.  Annett has researched and written thousands of stories about individuals, institutions, events, technology, and history at Lawrence Tech.  He has served as executive director of marketing and public affairs since 1999. He joined the staff in 1976 as director of college relations and alumni services, and administers university publications, media relations, advertising and marketing, and the Website. He also established Lawrence Tech's Archives in 1977 and has accumulated photographs, documents, oral histories, and other artifacts relevant to the University’s history, including the Spirit of Lawrence Tech airplane and the Hansmobile, the "granddaddies" of today's high tech student projects. He is preparing a book about Lawrence Tech's history and is a graduate of Albion College and Michigan State University.
