JOB DUTIES:  The primary responsibilities will be to lead and develop processes for operational excellence through creating, documenting, and deploying processes and procedures within the Help Desk Services department as well as supervisory responsibilities for part-time student staff.  Typical duties include managing the daily operations of the help desk and support services to include hiring, training, and schedule work assignments for part-time student staff.  Monitoring response times, evaluating user-satisfaction levels and making recommendations for improvement.  The position requires strong leadership skills.  Candidate must possess excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, along with patience, a positive, customer-friendly attitude and have the ability to work in a team environment.  Candidate must have a strong technical understanding of the various hardware, software and networking systems supported. 

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimally a bachelor's degree required along with three years related experience.

JOB DUTIES: The candidate will recruit and enroll a diverse group of bright, motivated and adventurous students for Lawrence Technological University through the effective management of their assigned region. The candidate will be responsible for all contact with prospective students from high schools, two-year colleges, other universities, and non-traditional students in assigned geographic areas.  This includes travel to high schools and community colleges on a regular basis, as well as office counseling and advisement.  Telemarketing and written follow-up to qualified candidates is also required.  The Admissions Counselor uses independent judgment in responding to and taking action on demands and expectations placed on the University's marketing endeavors. 

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four‑year college or university; or two to three years related experience in an educational setting, student services or customer services field or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience using computers, software, and Internet based applications.

JOB DUTIES:  The College of Engineering at LTU has a part-time Secretary position available in its Department of Civil Engineering.  The person in this position will work closely with all members of the Civil Engineering Department as well as the Civil Engineering and Dual Degree students. Duties include supporting the departments outside grant programs, contacting students, directing phone inquiries, greeting and directing visitors, providing general information, and ensuring office operations run smoothly.
