Here's What's Changing
- The current BCN Healthy Blue Living HMO and Blue Cross Blue Shield of MI (BCBSM) Simply Blue PPO plans will terminate on 12/31/2013.
- Effective 01/01/2014, the new medical plan options will be HAP Aspire Health Engagement HMO and Alliance Health and Life (AHL) PPO.
- All employees will need to make a new medical election for 2014.

Annual Benefits & Wellness Fair
LTU will be hosting the 14th Annual Benefits & Wellness Fair on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Ridler Field House for eligible full-time employees. Our benefit providers and other community vendors will be available to lend you wellness and management tips.
Flu shots will be available at the fair from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The vaccine is free for current BCN and BCBSM members and cost $25.00 for nonmembers. If you plan on receiving the vaccine, please complete the flu consent form and bring it and your insurance card with you to the fair.
Jacques' Tacos Food Truck will be in the Ridler Field House parking lot on October 30th, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Full-time employees can sign in at the Human Resouces Welcome Table and pick up a free $5.00 food voucher to use at the truck.
