JOB DUTIES: The Student and Faculty Services Coordinator is a part-time staff position. The candidate will be assisting with recruiting and enrollment, including but not limited to department and college recruiting, student application management, orientation and registration, marketing materials, and meeting with potential and accepted students. The candidate will be participating in University and community outreach, as well as providing faculty and administrative support. Candidate will be assisting with facilities and technical support, such as print lab and studio maintenance in the Art and Design building.

QUALIFICATIONS: A High School Diploma, experience in customer service and conflict resolution desired.

Robofest Coordinator

JOB TITLE: Robofest Coordinator
POSITION NUMBER:
HIRING SUPERVISOR: Director of Robofest
DIVISION: College of Arts & Science
DEPARTMENT: Math & Computer Science
TYPE: Part Time Temporary (some Saturday hours)

JOB DUTIES: The Robofest Coordinator reports to the Director of Robofest. The Coordinator plans, implements, and manages Robofest programs, events, and activities concurrently. Additional duties include purchasing, marketing, recruiting/training volunteers, fundraising, and assisting with grant proposals.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in STEM area, Education, or Management is required. A minimum of one year experience in STEM outreach programs or project management/administration. Advance level of computer application skills to include MS Word, Mail Merge, Excel, Power Point, photo and editing, web design (using CMS), Google Drive/Docs, Skype, and social networking systems.

Robofest (www.robofest.net) is an annual robotics festival and competition designed to promote and support STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology, and Math), Computer Science, and Arts through autonomous robotics for K-16 students.

Some Saturday hours are required.
