Loft Beds

For students who want extra space in their bedroom, you may want to consider renting or buying a loft bed. Loft beds are a great option if you are looking to create more space in your bedroom for your desk, dresser, or to add more work space. Universal Furnishings is the only endorsed loft company for University Housing. Any students wishing to purchase a loft bed can simply, visit Universal Furnishings' website and purchase the loft bed directly through the company. Universal Furnishings will then inform University Housing of any student who ordered a loft bed and the company will come and install your loft bed for you before you move in.

Linens

 For students who need linen, including bedding, sheets, towels, blankets, etc. you may want to contact Residence Hall Linens http://www.rhl.org/lwu-store. This is a great option for those who do not have time to shop before they move in. You can simply visit the Residence Hall LInens' website, order your products, and have them mailed directly to you before you move in. The linens are guaranteed to fit our extra long twin mattresses and are guaranteed until graduation.

Personal Property Insurance

For students who may want extra protection for their personal property if they are not covered on their parents' insurance, you may want to consider personal property insurance. If something happens to your belongings, i.e. theft, fire, damage, etc. Lawrence Tech is not liable. To protect yourself you may want to checkout renter's insurance through the company National Student Services, Inc. http://www.nssi.com/. To purchase the insurance please contact the company directly as this is not associated with Lawrence Tech but is an option for students since Lawrence Tech is not liable for personal property.
