LTU Degrees at Schoolcraft College

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering

A unique agreement between Schoolcraft College and Lawrence Tech allows Schoolcraft students to gain a Lawrence Tech degree while attending classes on site at Schoolcraft College.  Students who have completed their Associate in Engineering from Schoolcraft are eligible to transfer up to 67 credits into Lawrence Tech’s Mechanical Engineering program.  This would mean a student in this program would only be required to attain 65 additional credits to earn a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Courses are offered on weekends to better suit working individuals.  These courses are typically offered Friday evenings or Saturday during the day.  This allows students to work full time during the week and still gain the degree they desire. 

Lawrence Tech instructors will be onsite at Schoolcraft college teaching LTU coursework.  Students in this program will get hands on experience working with the instructors and other students.  Students taking these classes at Schoolcraft are also free to complete their senior projects with students from Lawrence Tech’s main campus.

The benefits of the program go even beyond the rigorous coursework at Schoolcraft.  Students attending LTU classes at Schoolcraft also receive a discount on Tuition.  Students are also provided high end laptops with programs related to their major already installed.

Masters of Business Administration

Gain the benefits of a Lawrence Tech Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Degree with the flexibility of courses at Schoolcraft College.  The MBA coursework is being offered at Schoolcraft College's VistaTech Center.  These are courses taught by LTU professors on-site at Schoolcraft College. 

These courses can easily be completed with our weekly classes held on Saturday.  This flexibility allows for working adults to easily complete this rigorous degree.  You can still work at your current job while preparing for your future career.

It only takes 2 years to complete the 36 credits the program entails.  Work is completed during a 13 week semester running for 3 semesters per year.
